HTM SNAP Assist Knife

In 2012, Kirby Lambert won at the 2012 Blade Show.  He also won the 2012 at the West Coast Custom Knife show for the best custom tactical knife.  Now he has teamed up with HTM Knives to make the SNAP assisted knife available.  At first glance, the SNAP shows well.  It has a 3D anodized aluminum frame shaped like a grenade.  The shape fits perfect in the hand and gives you an extremely solid grip.  As you delve deeper into the knife and the components, you quickly realize that not only does the knife look great, it is great.

The modified tanto blade is built from CTS-B75P.  There are some models with 154CM but the models we carry all have the CTS-B75P steel.  This is considered a an excellent stainless steel.  It is a powder metalurgy steel.  It has the right amount of vanadium carbides so it holds an edge well but not so many that it is difficult to finish and sharpen.

The SNAP opens fast and locks up tight.  You can open it with the dual thumb studs or with the spine flipper.  Either route gets the blade open fast.  I really like the deep carry pocket clip (tip down).  And it all comes in a nice padded nylon zipper pouch for storage.  Great knife from a winning designer.
