Schrade recently released a new series of pens. These pens are 6061 T6 aluminum machined into a pleasing and comfortable shape. Available in four colors, including orange, black, brown and grey. With the cap on the pen in the closed position, the other end has a slightly pointed end that in a pinch could be used as a small kubaton. But the extremely cool thing about these pens are that when you unscrew the cap, you have a perfectly functional and very loud emergency whistle. Perfect if you are ever in need of help or just want to get some attention. The top can be screwed onto the base of the pen when you want to just write. The base of the pen can be unscrewed in two places to reveal a ferro rod and a striking plate in case you ever need to start a fire. Overall, this is an extremely cool pen that is comfortable for extended periods of writing and has the added benefit of a couple of useful and fun tools. Specs below:
Overall Length: 5.9″
Body Diameter: 0.58″
Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum
Handle Color: Orange, Black, Grey, Brown
Weight: 1.7 oz.
Ink Color: Black

A few weeks ago we had a screaming deal on the Schrade SCALY auto conversion knife. If you missed the deal–here is your chance to get in on a great price on the SCALY. We just got a bunch more of these knives in stock–this time they have the yellow Delrin handle and a black finished blade. These are snappy little automatic knives with tight lock up. Looking for a great little auto? This may just be the answer.
Schrade released their new Bolo Machete. This is a huge knife. With a 14″ blade that is .15″ thick, this monster is ready for some heavy duty survival work. The handle is a Schrade Safe-T-Grip that gives you a nice solid grip even when conditions are wet and slippery. The 3Cr13 stainless steel blade has a titanium nitride coat to give extra corrosion resistance. Looking for a big machete that has enough weight to get some serious cutting done–look no further–the Schrade Bolo Machete is here.
Schrade released their second generation pry tool this year. This is an all titanium tool designed for easy neck, wallet, key chain, or pocket carry that will get a whole lot of jobs done. Since it is so small, it doesn’t take up much space. It has a small pry tool at one end. It also has two different wrenches in five sizes–both a metric and an SAE. Aside from that it has a bottle opener, a strap cutter and a screwdriver, I like this titanium pry tool quite a lot. Check it out on our site.
